"Lunar
Angel" This illustration was inspired by late Nineteenith Century nouveau artist Alfons Mucha and is half of a two part set. I have always wanted to create companion pieces and so I chose to illustrate one of my favorite interests... angels. The Lunar angel is dressed in a blue gown, has black hair and is laying on a sliver of the moon with stars below. The background is the color of the paper which is blue. Her companion piece is called Solar Angel. Medium:
