Lion" This illustration was done for two reasons: 1) as an exercise in using colored pencils and 2) to prepare myself for some Arthurian illustrations that I have had in the works to paint for somw time now. As part of my research, the shield itself was influenced from traditional medieval armory collection. Medium:
