"Solar Angel"

This illustration was inspired by late Nineteenth Century nouveau artist Alfons Mucha and is half of a two part set. I have always wanted to create companion pieces and so I chose to illustrate one of my favorite interests... angels. The Solar angel is dressed in a yellow gown, has blonde hair and is laying on a sliver of the sun with rays below. The background is the color of the paper which is yellow. Her companion piece is called Lunar Angel.
