"Concept
Sketch: IN UMBRAM" Latin for "Into [the] Shadow" this sketch is the second in a triptych series of paintings depicting the Battle of Light and Shadow and shows a male demon wielding a spear entwined with dark red ribbons with a conspiracy of black ravens flying above him. He will be dressed in black and will have twisted black horns on his head and cloven feet. The background will be a stain glass window depicting fire erupting out of the earth with a dark sky and storm clouds hurling lightening bolts down. The Final painting in this triptych series will be titled "BELLUM LUCIS ET UMBRAE", Latin for "The Battle of Light and Shadow" and will depicted a female angel and a male demon locked in combat.
