Sketch: Sting" This illustration of Sting is one that I started many years ago while working on some other projects. It allowed me to exercise my hand in graphite and also tested my ability to work with shadows and lighting on the human face. The photo I used as a reference came from his Soul Cages tour and was used in a few different promotions for the album and the tour. At any rate, the illustration was fun to do and I loved the opportunity to draw my favorite musician. Medium:
